Thanksgiving and Christmas cacti in the Schlumbergera family often flower twice: first between October and February, and then between March and May. Thanksgiving and Christmas cactus bloom best when slightly pot-bound. Hi Martha, I also have a “Christmas” cactus blooming right now, I’m embracing the blooms and calling it my Winter cactus.
